The Oil Spill:
We are doing what we can to spread the word about this man-made ecological disaster that has adversely effected this place we call home. We could use your help.
Starting on April 20th, 2010, 205.8 million gallons of crude oil leaked into the Gulf. The graphic below is a day by day explanation of what happened.
Head Above Water:
This is a free compilation we released to raise awareness about the impacts of the Gulf Oil Spill. All the proceeds from the donations received will go straight to the Gulf Restoration Network.

Last week due to an act of violence that may never be understood, a great friend was taken from us and a great person was taken from the world. Mitch Dubey a dear friend of Community Records, a fellow musician, Andy Tabar of The Flaming Tsunami’s roomate, & all around amazing human being was shot & killed in his own home.
Here’s a great article about his memorial service on New Haven Independent with a video of Emily (Andy’s girlfriend & another roommate) speaking about Mitch and here’s another article explaining more so what happened.
In the mean time, Greg & D-Ray are preparing to fly up to Conneticut this weekend to go to this amazing show to honor Mitch’s life and to help raise money for the Dubey family.
If you live around the area or can find a means to get there, please try and make it out.
